MTN, the leading telecommunications service provider in Africa and the Middle East, has made a donation to the Edina Traditional Council in support of the celebration of this year's Edina Bakatue festival. The donation was in line with MTN's commitment to support festivals in the country.
The donation comprised of GHC 4,000, recharge cards, MTN souvenirs and sponsorship of some of the activities to mark the festival such as, football gala, float, and chill out zone and branding of the grand durbar. In all, the sponsorship deal will be to the tune of GHC 33,000.
In receiving the donation, the Head of the Planning Committee for this year's festival, Nana Aduakwa II, expressed appreciation to MTN on behalf of the chiefs and people of Edina Traditional Area.
