Kumasi, June 29, GNA - Alhaji Gado Sulemana, a leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kumasi, on Monday appealed to District Chief Executives (DCE) to eschew self-aggrandizement in the discharge of their duties.
He said this was very crucial because such behaviour or attitude could lead them to make certain promises they would not be able to honour and thereby commit themselves.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview in Kumasi on Monday, Alhaji Gado said Metropolitan, Municipal and D istrict Chief executives should to be very tolerant and respect views from others.
He called for unity of purpose and understanding among all NDC members from the top to the constituency and ward levels so that together they could combine ideas and opinions into good policies and programmes towards the rapid development of the country.
