Accra, June 29, GNA – The Haggai Institute for Advancing Leadership Skills on Monday named a three-member Accra Chapter Executives, to steer the affairs of the institute in Accra for the next five years.
The Haggai Accra Chapter executives are; Pastor Emmanuel K. Acquah, President; Mr Francis Ameyibor, Secretary; and Mrs Regina Quist-Therson, Treasurer.
Haggai Institute is an international and interdenominational Christian ministry founded in 1969 to equip Africans, Asians and Latin American Christian leaders with the Gospel of Christ to evangelize and train others to win souls for Christ.
The Accra Chapter is tasked to advance the skills of qualified Christian leaders to effectively propagate the Word of God and create a platform for training other leaders for the fulfilment of the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.
Mr J. S. T. Abbosey, National President of Haggai Ghana who supervised the selection of the Chapter Executives, tasked the leadership to ensure that the Gospel of Christ is presented in the power of the Holy Spirit with cultural relevance and sensitivity to all peoples, especially in non-evangelized communities.
He urged them to target credible and competent business, professional and church leaders with the ability to advance the skills to others within the community of believers.
“This multiplier effect produces exponential growth in the evangelization process and prepare leaders to develop ministry resources in their own countries using Biblical principles of stewardship,” he said.
Mrs. Sam Araba Ata, heads a Sub-Committee in Charge of Training, which includes Mrs. Darko Mabel, Rev. John Seth Acquaye, Apostle Micheal C. Asiedu, and Elder Albert Kwame Narh.
The Accra Chapter fixed September 19 for its inauguration and November 26 to November 29 for its first training seminar.
