Mr Daniel Kerma-Betu Eshun, has been confirmed by the Ellembelle District Assembly as the District Chief Executive for Ellembelle, polling 37 out of 41 votes cast.
Mr Eshun said in an acceptance speech that his administration would be transparent and accountable and urged the assembly to co-orporate in promoting unity, peace and tranquillity in the district.
He said education, health and the promotion of Information Communication Technology (ICT) would be his priority and that he would open a website to promote the district.
The Deputy Minister of Energy and MP for Ellembelle, Mr. Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, hoped the DCE would not focus on politics but on developmental issues and projects for a sustainable development and growth of the district.
Mr Dominic Kwesi Yenzu, was elected the Presiding Member for the area.
