Medics declared daredevil Tihomir Petrunic sane but obsessed, after police hauled him from a 100ft high crane in Duga Resa, northern Croatia.
He said: “I can't help it. I have to climb things.
“I woke up in the morning, saw the crane and just knew that I had to climb it. And when I did I was pleased. The view was incredible.”
The 38-year-old added: “My fiancée got tired of it, though, and left me. Who would want to put up with that?”
