Dutch Eredivisie side FC Utrecht are monitoring the performance of Ghana international Nana Akwesi Asare for a possible move in the summer transfer window.
Utrecht are reported to have held discussions with KV Mechelen over his availability.
The 22-year-old has hit a rich vein of form this season and has been linked to some clubs in Belgium and Europe.
Asare has named been as one of five players shortlisted for the 2009 Ebony Award with the winner set to be announced on 11 May.
Giants Anderlecht have already expressed interest in the player and are not prepared to pay the 1.5 million euros quoted by his club.
