Agyekum sydney a.k.a. dj sydney y2k was very young when he showed his first interest in music, more precise, when he had his first contact with «the wheels of steel».
Not so long after that, he bought his first equipment for proffessional mixes and started dj-ing. He begun his dj career in a small clubs and soon he played in more popular clubs and he also did some radio shows on «GHANATODAY» where he was the main responsible for playing and selecting music.
Soon he became and still is a resident Dj, in newly opened «Disco BAR MP3» in BRUSSELS, where he is still working. In the last few years, he worked incessantly on his sets and you could hear them on many radio stations across BELGIUM and you could also see his name in magazines such as «DJ Y2K» which made an articles about this young and promissing dj.
He did some TV shows, DJ Y2K show time, where he mastered like no one else, and presented him and his unique music style. Sydney played in many popular parties, openings, and other events.
He was in collaboration with many domestic and worldwide known musicians like: Kokoval, TENADU Patrick, Ohenesei aka boga, Big Romeo , Ampofo Evans aka young g, And collaborated with popular vocals and MC's like MC S-RKAN, and played with instrumentals like trumpets, guitars and percussions.
During his carrer, he dabbled in all genres of HIP HOP and HIP LIFE music. His carrer is almost 10 years old and now, he is on top of underground HIP HOP. His reputation and addiction to music, gave him a recognisable nick «DJ ''BIEYEFOO'' Meaning DJ Wizard».
He is a type of dj who always had «a good ear for music» and immidiately knew what dance floor requests from him. He makes a sophisticated house and knows how from an ordinary party make a real and true event.
His performance shows unique expression and audience can really feel good vibes coming from him. Just because of his possibility to make great atmosphere, once he said: «I am playing my music because I want to create a place where people could forget their problems for a while!»
Thanks to this young and promissing dj, GHANA music scene is moving in right direction.
