
The Police Administration on Friday honoured six policemen in New Juaben Municipality for their high sense of professionalism that led to the seizure of 1,399 parcels of cocaine at Nsawam on May 30, last year.
Each was presented GH¢500 and a certificate of merit.
They were, Police Inspector Ernest Offei, Sergeant Richard Ansah, Sergeant Fredrick Ansah, Sergeant Stephen Ahialolo, Sergeant Frank Afrane and Corporal William Asmah.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Frank Adu-Poku, Director General in-charge of Criminal Investigations Department (CID) presented the awards in Koforidua.
He commended them for displaying the highest level of professionalism and urged them to maintain the standard.
