Mr. Ghana: “I don't know why I'm complaining, but I feel I must complain since I have some internal destabilization.

“I am complaining because there was supposed to be electoral compromise in the Volta region. For them, I know they don't like us and so if they get a chance they will compromise the electoral process against us.

“Look some of our polling agents were not allowed to do their work. Although there was heavy presence of security there, I doubt if the security did their work. I'm just not comfortable with the VV i.e. Volta Votes”.

Koo: “Similarly, honorable Ghana, I also don't know why I'm complaining but feel a lot of things went wrong in the Ashanti Region. First, I know that's the stronghold of my brother here and somehow some of our polling agents were threatened, some I had to withdraw because of danger. Besides that some of us were just afraid of the place because we didn't know what could happen to us from the look of things.”

Mr. Ghana: “Did all these accusations you are bringing forward directly affect the electoral statistics?”

Koo: “We don't know but anyway we can compare the valid votes cast of December 7 and that of December 28 and strike the difference”.

Mr. Ghana: “I agree”
Koo: “Then let's do it.”.

December 7 valid votes cast for all the 8 candidates:
Ashanti Region: = 1,677,285
Volta Region: = 664,888

December 28 Run-off valid votes cast for the two candidates;
Ashanti Region: = 1,918,569
Volta Region: = 733,072

Mr. Ghana: “Hey, they have all increased in numbers, so why are you complaining?”

Koo: “But we told you we don't know why we are complaining, didn't we?”

Mr. Ghana: “Ok! Let's subtract the December 7 of Ashanti Region from the Run-off of Ashanti Region and then do the same with the Volta Region”.

Koo: “Yes we agree”.
Ashanti Region
Run-off: 1,918,569 - December 7: 1,677,285 = 241,284

Volta Region
Run-off: 733,072 - December 7: 664,888 = 68,484

Mr. Ghana: So the Ashanti Region had the difference of two hundred and forty-one thousand, two hundred and eighty-four more votes as compared to the sixty-eight thousand one hundred and eighty-four votes in the Volta Region. Hmmm!

Koo: Is that so? Anyway that's why I said I don't know why I am complaining.
