Iran's private sector can aid Ghana's development program

TEHRAN, Nov. 18 (ISNA)-Iranian private companies can play a key role in Ghana's development program, said Iran's Foreign Minister in a visit with the country's newly-appointed ambassador to Iran Ahmad Hassan.

Iran-Ghana friendly ties as well as Tehran's technical and industrial potentials can pave the way for further growing of relations, Mottaki said.

Ahmad Hassan for his part described Iran as a significant regional country and said ties with Iran is of much importance for Accra.

He also highlighted Iran's capabilities in different domains and said he would do his best to boost the level of mutual relations in all sections.

The two countries have already signed seven memorandums of Understandings (MoU) in the fields of health, shipping, agriculture, oil, media, diplomacy and customs during their third joint economic cooperation commission held in Tehran in May.
