All applicants who registered in the recent voter registration exercise but could not have their photographs taken are to call at centres where they registered with their registration slips for their pictures to be taken and laminated, the Electoral Commission (EC) said yesterday.
A statement signed by Dr Kwadwo Afari-Gyan, Chairman of the Commission, said the exercise would be from September 12 to 16, from 0700 to 1800 each day, including the weekend.
It said: 'Applicants should note that their names will not appear in the voters' register if they do not complete the registration process by having their photograph taken for their ID cards to be made.'
The statement urged applicants to listen to public announcements for the date and time when the photo-taking team would be in their area.
