A Christian group is to hold three days of prayers and crusades for a peaceful election in December 2008.
Evangelist Sudan Missionary and Crusade Network said it would hold the session at Tamale in the Northern Region from August 6-8, 2008.
The organisers said in a statement issued in Accra on Friday that the theme would be “Peaceful Election 2008 for Economic and Social Development”.
Reverend Daniel Aziz of Living Park Chapel, Accra would be the main speaker.
Other speakers would be Evangelist Nana Ama Nyantakyiwaa, Central Charismatic Baptist Church, Kumasi and Evangelist Suuk Damparu, Kingdom Life Ministries, Kumasi.
The statement said the crusade was being organised in conjunction with the Ghana Pentecostal Council, the Local Council of Churches and Northern Ecumenical Forum.
