Mr Abubakari Ankomah, Headmaster of Busunya Senior High School in Nkoranza North District, has commended the Member of Parliament (MP) for Nkoranza South for his support to the development of the school.
Mr Ankomah told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Busunya that the MP, Mr Kwame Amporfo-Twumasi, recently provided six low tension poles and security light bulbs valued at over GH¢4,000 to enhance the school's lighting system.
He said the school had through the MP benefited from a number of projects including the provision of a 36-seater.
Me added that Mr Amporfo-Twumasi presented quantities of books when he was the Nkoranza District Chief Executive and also helped to repair the school's only pick-up vehicle when it broke down.
“The authorities are working hard to elevate the school into a boarding status so that more students could be enrolled”, he said.
Mr Ankomah said the school had 260 students and appealed to the District Assembly for support as the school was the only public senior high institution in the District.
