NIB supports Adenta Municipal Assembly

The National Investment Bank (NIB) on Friday donated GH˘5,000 to the Adenta Municipal Assembly to assist in the smooth operation of the Assembly which was formally inaugurated earlier this year.
The donation, NIB said, was part of the bank's social commitments to ensure that the assembly had smooth operations and to ensure the overall development of the Adenta Municipality.
Mr Kwabena Oware Adomako, Adenta Branch Manager of the Bank, presenting the cheque, said the bank, which is the first investment bank in the country, would continue to deepen their relationship with the Assembly and expressed the hope that the relationship between the bank and the assembly would be further strengthened.
Mr Daniel Adumoah, Municipal Chief Executive, expressing his gratitude to the bank said, as a new Assembly they needed support to ensure smooth operations.
He said there were a number of activities and projects that the assembly hoped to undertake to make the Adenta community an enviable one.
Mr Opare Hammond, Member of Parliament for Adenta, also commended NIB for the gesture and urged other institutions to support assemblies to work effectively. Source: GNA - Ghana News Agency
