NEW: Ghana Tourist Villas offers an unforgettable holiday and business experience in Accra.
Legacy & Legacy, a human resource development firm engaged in corporate training and motivational conferences, in collaboration with Otabil and Associates and corporate partners, will organise the second international conference for information dubbed Infopreneurship 2008 in Accra, Ghana.

The two-day conference scheduled for August 19 and 20, at the National Theatre, is on the theme: “Understanding & Excelling in the Knowledge Economy”.

In a statement to mark the official launch of the conference, Mrs ComfortOcran, CEO of Legacy & Legacy, described “Infopreneurship 2008 as very relevant because of its total transformation of business models all over the world.”

She noted that the factors of production had changed from the classical concepts of land, labour and capital to new ones like knowledge, time and ideas.

“Today, a wide range of opportunities exist for businesses to grow through the development of their human resource and a new approach to information and strategy.

Individuals can also enhance their knowledge base and significantly improve their value on the global landscape.

“The conference therefore provides a platform for individuals and companies in manufacturing, services, tourism, finance, education, ICT, commerce, health, publishing, consulting, real estate and every productive sector to examine how new paradigms and available information can be harnessed for rapid career development and organisational growth.”

She said very respectable and accomplished speakers of international stature had been selected to speak on topics that would be extremely beneficial to participants.

Apart from a wide range of opportunities in finance and investment, the conference will address topics that will improve today's corporate executive and leader. These include public speaking and communication, enhancing your personal brand and value and strategies for personal career development.

Speakers include Dr Mensa Otabil of the International Central Gospel Church; Mr Alhassan Andani, Managing Director of Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited; Mr Albert Ocran, CEO of Combert Impressions; Mr Ken Ofori-Atta, Executive Chairman of Databank Financial Services and Aig-Imoukhuede, Managing Director, Access Bank Plc., Nigeria.

Last year's maiden conference hosted 1,400 participants from all over Ghana and the sub-region in what was thought to be the largest single motivational conference of its nature ever to be held in Ghana.

Organisers are, however, convinced that this year's conference will go a step higher.
