Somovision outdoors new showroom
Somotex Ghana Limited, which deals in home electronic appliances on Wednesday, outdoored a new showroom in the North Industrial Area (NIA) in Accra.
The unveiling of this new showroom was intended to offer its premium world-class brand product, such as LG, to its swarming consumers in Ghana.
The General Manager for the West Africa LG Electronics, Mr. Peter Ko observed that, the initiative of the outdooring of the showroom was to ensure that LG products are readily available to its numerous consumers in Ghana.
Mr. Ko assured Ghanaians that the products of LG are genuine with all the advantages that come with it.
“All LG products ranging from its washing machines, microwave ovens, televisions (both plasma and LCD), air conditioners, to any LG products are backed with a one year Pan-African warranty”, he added.
He asked Ghanaians to purchase products from authorised dealers of LG, if they want to enjoy from the warranty.
According to Mr. Ko, a survey conducted by a research agency identified the need to satisfy the growth of customer demand and also bringing LG products closer to consumers for purchase.
On his part, Executive Director of Somotex Ghana Limited, Mr. Ashok Mohanani said cases of consumers bringing in products not bought from authorised dealers and expecting it to be covered by the warranty is a thing of the past.
Mr. Joel Hyde, Managing Director, Somotex Ghana Ltd said LG products are engineered to improve and enhance the living conditions of Ghanaian consumers.
There are two more LG outlets, which are to be opened within June 2008, comprising four business units including a mobile communications, digital appliance, digital display and digital media.
