MANAGEMENT of New Crystal Clinic, an Ashaiman-based private healthcare facility has assured clients visiting the hospital of its preparedness to ensure that quality and efficient service is delivered at all times.
Dr. Wisdom Amegbletor, the Medical Director of the clinic, gave the assurance at an inaugural ceremony to formally open the hospital's new branch at Adjei Kojo, in Ashaiman, near Tema.
“We cannot afford to lose our hard-won reputation by simply ignoring our medical responsibilities to our patients. New Crystal Clinic and Herbal Centre will continue to do its best to offer the best medical care to our cherished patients,” said Dr. Amegbletor.
The clinic, one of the fastest-growing private healthcare facilities in Ashaiman offers 24-hour medical services in Gynaecology, Antenatal Care, Dental and Eye Care, General Counselling, Ultrasound Scan, Herbal Treatments and Laboratory Services.
Dr. Amegbletor urged residents of Ashaiman, especially regular patrons of the clinic to continue to visit the centre as its hardworking staff are ever prepared to offer them the best service.
Giving reasons for the establishment of the new branch in a developing area like Adjei Kojo, the Medical Director said the reason was based on series of requests made by residents to the clinic to bring healthcare service to their door step.
“Some residents, we are told, are compelled to travel long distances from Adjei Kojo to Ashaiman township to access medical attention; this, we believe, is not good enough for the health of the patient, especially when he/she is in a critical condition,” he observed.
Mrs. Alice Obeng, Manager in-charge of the Tema Metropolitan Mutual Health Insurance Scheme, commended the management and staff of the clinic for the initiative and urged them to keep up the good work.
She called on members of the community who have not yet registered with the scheme to do so because it would go a long way to help them access quality medical care without any difficulty.
She said the National Health Insurance Council would soon make the scheme a national one, where all insurers would access medical care irrespective of their areas of jurisdiction.
The colourful ceremony, chaired by Mr. Eli Akahoho, the assembly man for the Adjei Kojo Electoral Area, was graced by members of the community, scheme officers and staff of the clinic.
The occasion was also used to offer free medical service on Hepatitis B, Hypertension and Diabetes.
