Guinness Foreign Extra Stout, the official beer sponsor of the MTN African Cup of Nations, Ghana 2008, has again given its loyal consumers reason to celebrate the on-going National Consumers Promotions (NCP).
Consumers are winning fantastic prizes in the promotion, ranging from instant wins to draws.
Last Thursday, Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) officials, as part of their busy Christmas and New Year programmes, presented prizes to winners of the previous weekly draw in the studios of NAFTI in Accra.
An elated Henry Selasi Agbanyon of Accra went home smiling with a 29-inch colour TV set whilst Gloria Riverson also took home a fridge fully stocked with Guinness products.
Speaking at the presentation, Kwamena Egyir Budu, Senior Brands Manager of Stouts, said GGBL took pride in developing and creating amazing relationships with its key stakeholders, especially its loyal consumers.
He said the NCP, which is a national crown cork promotion, is meant to serve as a platform to launch Guinness as the official beer for CAN 2008 and dial up Guinness' football agenda.
Mr. Kwamena Egyir Budu said the National Consumer Promotion is in line with CAN football exploitation and it will give loyal consumers the opportunity to experience Guinness' association with football.
He reiterated his advice to consumers to enjoy their ice-cold Guinness responsibly and said there are three levels of winning in the National Consumer Promotion.
The first level of winning entitles a consumer to a free bottle of Guinness upon seeing free drink in the crown cork.
At the second level he said, one needs to match one Greatness crown cork and one Believe crown cork to win a Guinness Jersey.
The last level, Mr. Budu said, is to match two Believe crown corks, place them in an envelope with the name and contact telephone number and drop in a redemption box at the point of purchase.
“Don't be left out, insist on your Guinness crown corks whenever you enjoy any Guinness, during this promotion and please keep sending your entries”, Mr. Kwamena Egyir Budu added.
The fourth draw was immediately held under the supervision of KPMG, observers of the promotion.
It would be recalled that Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited last October launched a promotion on its iconic brand, Guinness, to reward loyal consumers.
The promotion has loads of prizes to be won at each draw including tickets to watch the CAN 2008 matches live, power generators, colour television sets, fridges full of Guinness, digital cameras and replica jerseys.
