The Ghana Education Service (GES) on Tuesday announced that students who had been placed in various Senior High Schools and technical institutes under the first phase of the CSSPS and have not yet reported should do so by Friday November 2, 2007.
A statement issued by GES in Accra, said heads of senior high schools and technical institutes have been directed to admit such students.
The statement said students who were being placed under the second phase of the placement exercise should check on their placements in district offices of the GES and the Junior High Schools they attended by November 2, 2007 to know the schools they were placed.
It said as from October 31, 2007, parents could also check on the status of placements of their wards by text messaging to the following numbers- One Touch/Tigo, 7777 or MTN, 1755.
The statement reiterated GES's determination to ensure that all students placed under the second phase of the exercise start school from November 5, 2007.
