The Ghana Country Award Council, GCAC would be launching the Ghana National Honorary Awards of Fame, GNAHAF and the Ghana National Best Youth Challenge Award Scheme, GNABYCA in November this year.

Students in Senior High Schools and Tertiary Institutions would then have the privilege to enrol in the scheme since the new academic year is yet to begin. The Scheme is a strategic youth development initiative and a dynamic approach aimed at developing a holistic youth for current and changing challenges through its six (6) component areas which are: Academic Excellence (1 year), Aptitude Test (covering ICT, HIV/AIDS and Health Issues), Leadership, Research, Culture and Youth Career Service.

Moreover, applications would be made available to the public to enable them file their nominations for any of the categories of awards in the Ghana National Honorary Awards of Fame.

Qualified applicants and nominees of these prestigious awards and medals would be notified and their awards would be presented to them at a special presentation ceremony. Each category of an Award would be presented on a special occasion to deserving recipients.

Recipients of any of the awards would then have their names listed in the Ghana National Honorary Awards Hall of Fame.

Further details would be communicated to the public in due course. Attached is a list of awards under the Ghana National Honorary Awards of Fame.
