The Student's Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Ghana in collaboration with the University 's JobBank is organizing the first ever JobBank Fair on the Legon-campus.
The aim of the fair is to offer in-school and fresh graduates opportunity to meet leading recruiters such as KPMG Ghana, KPMG Nigeria (for Nigeria graduates in Ghana), Barclays Bank, HFC, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Patholab, ABL, Oxford and Beaumont, Shell, Sun Ripe Food Processing, Anglogold, among others who will be seeking to enlist the most competent personnel.
The fair comes off on Friday, June 15 at the Central Cafeteria of the University. In a statement jointly signed by the President Miss Louise Carol Serwaa Donkor and the Press Secretary, Mr. Kobby Gomez-Mensah, the student body said the fair comes at no cost to students.
The statement urged students, as well as, fresh graduates to take advantage of the opportunities that the fair would present.
Meanwhile, the SRC has indicated that as part of a longer vision, it is collaborating with the University's Counseling and Placement Centre through the England –Africa Partnership in Higher Education to offer Ghanaian graduates the opportunity to access placements abroad
