Tema, Nov 30, GNA - The man killed by armed robbers on the Accra-Aflao road on Monday, has been identified as Mr Samuel Kwasi Tamakloe, a contractor of Sogakope, in the Volta Region.
Mr Daniel Angmor, Tema Police Regional Crime Officer, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that a brief case containing large sums of money was taken away for the Director of Samtam Construction Works. Mr Samuel Agume, a mechanic, who was in his pick-up with him, was hit in the shoulder by the same bullet, which killed Mr Tamakloe.
Mr Agume is on admission at the Battor Government Hospital while the body has been deposited at the Police Hospital for autopsy.
Four armed robbers snatched a car near Dawa on Sunday night and robbed the passengers of an Accra-Aflao mini bus of several millions of cedis and later abandoned it.
No arrests have been made yet.
