Nuumo Narku Agbeti Traditional Chief Priest of Osu, in Accra poured libation as part of customary rites to mark the lifting yesterday of the three-week ban on drumming and noise-making within the traditional area, ahead of the annual Homowo festival.
The customary rites were performed at the Amanfong near the Castle, Osu, in Accra.
Osu-Ashanti Manklalo, Nii Ako Nortei IV and his elders, priests and priestesses paraded the Castle area amid drumming to signify the lifting of the ban.
