Accra, May 29, GNA- The Ghana Mines Workers Union (GMWU) on Friday, congratulated Peace FM, on the occasion of its 10th anniversary, saying the Accra Radio station had carved a reputable image through hard work.
Mr Eric Gyima, Deputy General Secretary of the GMWU, an affiliate body of the Trades Union Congress, who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency, said the station should not be content with its achievements but must plan strategies which would propel the personnel to greater heights.
He expressed the hope that Peace FM would continue to give opportunities to members of the public to air their views for the development of the country, as well as evolving programmes that would lead to poverty alleviation, eradication of disease and squalor.
Mr Gyima commended members of staff of the station for their diligence and good human relationship.
