
Its official! The long wait for Sarkodie's album will come to an end this weekend as the rapper touted as the fastest rapper in Ghana launches his album amid a host of activities. The appropriately titled debut, 'Makye' reflects his long journey in the rap game and it boasts of hit songs like 'Baby', 'Push', 'Chat with You' and a host of others. It also collaborations with some of the best artists in Ghana as well productions from top-notch beat makers like Killbeatz and Jayso.
On Friday April 10, there will be a premiering of the video for 'Baby', the first single from the album at the Aphrodisiac Niteclub. This would be followed by and autograph signing session at the forecourt of Rhapsody's, Accra Mall on Saturday 11 from 2pm and then the train will move to Holy Gardens, at Kwame Nkrumah Circle in the evening for the street launch.
Also on Easter Sunday, there will be the free Makye Afternoon Jam (after party) at the Cinderella's nightclub
