GHANA'S MOST Beautiful has certainly gripped the imagination of the nation. It is exciting and keeps improving week after week.

Four contestants have so far been shown the exit while six others are left standing tall. Who would be the next, is no doubt the question hovering in the minds of viewers and readers.

Last week your authoritative BEATWAVES visited the girls at a rehearsal session and gathered some information about who they are.

Erica

From the Brong Ahafo Region, Erica Joanna Arthur is a teacher by profession. She had her elementary education at the Mofetro Girls School in Kumasi. She continued to the St. Louis Secondary School and finally Wesley College, where, she got her training as a teacher. Besides that, she had a little bit of media training.

Ghana's Most Beautiful (GMB) for Erica is not only to display her traditional values to the viewing public, but to also win the coveted crown to nurture talents in her region.

She is embarking on a library project; and she hopes winning the reality show would make the future brighter for her.

Described by her inmates as the mother of GMB house, Erica is also the Chaplain of the house. She thinks the GMB is exciting, in respect of the judges' comments. She said the programme has refined her, deepened and widened her vision of the country.

Erica advised viewers to look beyond what they do on stage, as winning the show goes beyond that.

Akua

She is the elder of two children of Mr. James Ansah Asare and the late Madam Christina Anak. Her mom died when she was 16.

Hence at that tender age, she acted as a mother and daughter to her nuclear family. Currently she is a student at Accra Polytechnic studying BBS Accounting.

Akua who hails from Kwewu Bomi in the Eastern Region but stays at Madina in Accra, loves cooking and listening to music and as well adores entertainment in general. Her favorite international and local stars are Alicia Keys and Philipa Abeifi.

She is one of the contestants who revealed she is not really scared of eviction.

“When I was coming for the programme, I said to myself that it is a reality show, without eviction, it is not a reality show. So if I am evicted, I will take it in good faith”, were her words.

Besides the excitement she gets from the show, Akua is happy with the recognition she is getting from the viewing public and for that, she thanked TV3 and sponsors of the programme.

Fanny

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Aggreyfin, as Frances Emisa Aggreyfin, her mom prefers to call her Fanny. Initially she wanted to take after her dad who formally worked with GBC but upon second thought, she went into Beauty Therapy.

In the GMB house, she is oldest. She is 35. She believes whatever one does in the past, manifests in the person's future life.

According to Fanny she had never said no to extra curriculum activities while in school.  Continued
