Get Familiar: Molla Out With New Single, ‘Dreams’

Emmanuel Derine Momoh formally known as Big Mo; now called MOLLA is a rapper/singer/song writer/video director, music enthusiast, business man and founder of Molla Musik. Molla Musik is a music and life style entertainment company dedicated to perfecting the art of the music business in Nigeria.

The journey to Molla Musik didn’t happen over night; after 4 years working as an assistant to a record label CEO\artist\director\motivational speaker and businessman known as Bankole Wellington aka Banky W, Molla felt the need to put all the knowledge he gained over the years into making his own dream a reality.

While working as an assistant he ceased the opportunity to learn about music, the music industry and the music business. He was privileged to be involved in the day to day handling of business meetings, shows, interviews and he also spent quality time in the studio with his boss and other A-list artists in the industry.

Molla didn’t only learn over the 4 years, he also perfected his craft and found time to manage his own career. He was consistent over the years dropping records like Back in the Dayz ft Banky W; Anything for you ft Shaydee; Get Everthing ft Mavin’s Dija; Owo Kudi Ego ft Maytronomy and CDQ. And most recently, Balling since 1990 which received massive airplay. The video for this song was shot by his boss Banky W for his dedication to his job and craft.

Now on his own, Molla presents a new single to kick of this new phase of his life and career. This song appropriately titled DREAMS was inspired by his story as a young kid from the north (Kaduna) coming to Lagos to chase his dreams.

Through this song Molla has been able to showcase his entrepreneurial prowess by reducing capital and maximizing profit, he has been able to turn talent into livelihood; this is the major objective of Molla Musik.

He is a voice to anybody who has a dream, it could be as an artist, a doctor or even in sports, anybody who has a dream but does not have the resources to make this dream a reality. He is here as a beacon of hope to all the dreamers out there that talent and creativity would take you far; he is also a reminder that being able to relate to people and getting them to understand your story and share your vision is as important as talent.
