The talk of the fate of Ghana Comedy has become imperative in national discussions, especially as the nation has lost two of her most ingenious comedians within this past few months. The topics that have dominated such deliberations include the fate of Ghana Comedy and the private lives of local comedians; with the popular trend ‘who entertains the entertainer.’

In our quest to improve comedy in Ghana and the lives of Ghanaian Comedians, a renown entertainer KSM has shared his view on how local comedians can thrive in their career.

Ace Ghanaian Satirist and TV Personality Kweku Sintim Misah (KSM) has called on Ghanaian comedians to target global audience. According to him, local entertainers should not focus only in Ghana but should look at establishing themselves globally.

”I think gradually comedians should aim at the global level to be competitive not only in Ghana, but in Nigeria and else where. Looking at the platform here in Ghana I dont think it is big enough to grow a career in; they should start thinking global and accept that platform''

He made this statement on E-Ghana’s State of Affairs programme.

KSM cautioned comedians to get rid of repetitions in their deliveries but rather put in a relentless effort to make adequate research in order to put wide smiles on the faces of their audience. He lauded the likes of DKB for their deftness in the game of comedy.
