I Never Smoked With Shatta Wale - Samini

Samini in a recent interview has revealed he has never smoked with Shatta Wale before as Shatta claimed in the past.

The multiple hit factory talking to Peace FM about beef in Dancehall music said;

"As far as I'm concerned the genre that we are into, you are allowed to throw shots at other people for attention and get shots thrown back so you can trend.So when it's Dancehall and someone throws shots at you it's normal, it happens in Hip Hop too.

But you have to be constructive and sensitive and know that there is always a limit when throwing the shot. Also, if it's not a planned beef becareful of how hard you go when attacking the other person because they might just take it personally.

I wouldn't know how he will describe it but to the best of my knowledge; he started it, and he released a lot of underground songs targeted at me and many of the things he said about me were fabricated.

"That's why I came on this platform and said he should come for us to sit and talk about the issues one by one because there were statements like me telling show promoters not to put his name on bills when I can swear that I have never done that. If you ask Geoarge Andah, former Marketing Manager of MTN before I signed my deal, he asked which other artists in my genre can make an impact, I mentioned Bandana. That was before any of these songs came out.

On how he met Shatta Wale, Samini who is currently promoting his Saminifest slated for December 5th at Trade Fair narrated;

"When I was touring Ghana, I put him on the tour, and we went everywhere, that's why a picture of us popped up that we were friends back in the days. That was Obour's small boy, and I heard him when I went to do a feature on Obour's song.

So when I was going on the tour, I called Obour to let me take his small boy on tour. Thats how I knew him but if you watch old interviews with him saying we were friends, and we sat and smoked. He said he sat with me and smoked, I have never sat and smoked with him before. There are things he said just to make things interesting."
