The music celebration started with a number of budding and well-known underground artistes performing for hundreds of thousands of Ghanaians who trooped to the stadium for the much anticipated concert.

In between performances, DJ Virusky and the compere, DKB kept the crowd jamming with local and foreign tracks. The star-studded line-up of award-wining hiplife and dancehall artists then took to the stage one after the other.

With the crowd holding up their mobile phones and singing out loud to popular songs like ‘Angelina, Skolom, Diabetes, Everybody Likes My Tin, Natural Girl, Go Higher, and Swedru Agona’; Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, VVIP, Kwaw Kese, EL, Keche, MzVee, Flowking Stone, Okyeame Kwame, Praye, Guru and Patoranking thrilled fans with unforgettable performances.

The artistes put on a thrilling show and not only performed crowd favourites, but also interacted with the fans making their performance very engaging.

“It was an exciting moment for me to see all these musicians perform in Kumasi. I’ve never seen such a crowd at a music event – it was memorable and I had a very good time,” said 26-year-old Kwabena Ofosu, a trader at Kumasi Central Market.

A day ahead of the concert, the Marketing Director for Tigo, Jesse Agyepong, hosted the artistes and the media to cocktails.
