Okyeame Kwame To Perform At “Tigo Music Unplugged Concert” In Kumasi

Oh no! This was meant to be a surprise on the night as his name was not officially announced when Ghana’s digital lifestyle brand, Tigo Ghana launched the second edition of the “Tigo Music Unplugged Concert”.

But as it stands now, GhanaGist.Com can confirm that, the Ghana Music Awards 2009 Artiste of the Year, Okyeame Kwame has officially joined the tall list of exciting musicians drawn from Ghana and Nigeria to perform at this year’s “Tigo Music Unplugged Concert” scheduled to take place at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.

Picture this! How can a show of this magnitude be organized in Kumasi whiles one of the best musicians that Ghana has ever seen not billed to perform, especially when he hails from that part of the country? It would have been unheard of and unprecedented when the artiste in question is not signed to any competing brand.

Okyeame Kwame who is loved and adored in the Garden City of Ghana joins his brother and rapper Flowking Stone of Bradez fame, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, VVIP, Kwaw Kese, E.L, Keche and female Dancehall act MzVee.

Award winning Nigerian Dancehall specialist, Patoranking will also mount the stage to help the Ghanaian musicians to entertain and excite Tigo customers in Kumasi and Ghanaians in general.

Comedian DKB was earlier in the week announced as the host with Starr FM’s DJ Vyrusky as the official DJ for the event which takes place on Saturday, 28th November 2015.

The event celebrates the first anniversary of Tigo Music with customers ahead of Christmas.
