I sometimes absent-mindedly call my late mum's number - Stonebwoy

Stonebwoy is still trying very hard to come to terms with death of his mother, whom he fondly calls his friend - “my paddy”.

He revealed that he sometimes absent-mindedly dials his mum's phone number only to realise that she is no more.

Stonebwoy’s mother, Catherine Satekla, passed away on Wednesday, July 29 at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra after a short illness.

Madam Satekla, who died at age 63, was rushed to the hospital where she received treatment for an undisclosed ailment.

Stonebwoy, according to reports, arrived in Ghana from the US 15 minutes after she passed.

He told Joy FM's Super Morning Show host Kojo Yankson in an interview on Thursday that he dials her phone number and later realises that she is no more.

“We never got to meet often”, he said and explained that it was mostly because he was always out of town working.

The multiple award winning artiste recounted fondly that his mother didn’t have to get too much to be happy.
