NOV 16, 2015 LISTEN

Sunday 15th of November, 2015 marks the second anniversary of Amansan Television (ATV). ATV stands out as the only local Television Channel that promotes our rich local Ghanaian content and culture through the use of our local languages and diverse programmes. ATV is the pace setter as the first local channel to go digital with unadulterated local content. No television channel in Ghana has been able to make this commitment.

Born on the 15th of November, 2013 Amansan Television, being new was unknown to many people. But today, Amansan Television has broken through the competitive media landscape and has become a household name with lots of people now eager to watch the channel and gain its attention.

Amansan Television which started on a very low key with only an eight crew member team has grown to employ thirty regular staff and a number of internship students from various accredited media institutions. With over ten live shows aired on the channel daily, ATV is not only digital but on satellite as well. This is to say that Amansan Television has an extensive coverage and reaches people outside Ghana to Nigeria, Liberia, the rest of West Africa and beyond.

In just two years of being in existence, Amansan Television has won many laurels and this is to tell Ghanaians that Amansan Television has come not only to stay but also to set new high standards.

Some programmes that ATV prides itself in are AnopaBosuo,Asem Yi Di Ka, Anigyekrom, Oman Wo Mu TeWo Sen?, AgodiemuNsem, Kanawu, Kasamu, and News in four major Ghanaian languages, Hausa, Akan, Ewe and Ga.

We wish to thank our numerous viewers and sponsors for their loyalty and support.
