Malaika Girls Thrill Fans @ West Hill Mall

Contestants for this year's edition of Miss Malaika last Sunday stormed the West Hill Mall to thrill fans and patrons at an event dubbed 'Beauty And Fashion Affair'.

At the venue, the 14 contestants thrilled fans with their various designs and showcased their fashion sense.

There was the beach wear segment where the girls had to show off their curvy bodies in nicely designed bear wear made with GTP Wax Print.

Then came the second session where they were tasked to go to a boutique and dress up within six minutes.

They came out in very interesting style choices which said a lot about their personalities.

After they showed their fashion sense, they came out and dazzled in gowns that were inspired by celebrities on the red carpet. This was the highlight of the evening as the Ghanaian designers certainly outdid themselves in the way they created red carpet designs with African prints.

Kuukua, Martha, Karen, Kumang, Donna, Dionne, Suweida, Mamatha, AJ, Seliman, Suraya, Antwiwaa, Kezia and Beverly worked with designers such as House of Paon, Anutua Creations, Black Attire, Beth Sante, Senyo Amuzu, Pure Black Couture and Akutsi Designs for their red carpet gowns.

The event which was sponsored by GTP attracted a number of fashion bloggers, stylists, fashion designers, models, among others.
