Corporate Kumasi Excited At Rib-Cracking Comedy Performance

Participants at the maiden Pure Comedy event held Friday at the Golden Bean Hotel in Kumasi have called for a regular comedy show in the Ashanti regional capital.

They were so impressed by the rib-cracking performances by DKB, David Aglah, Foster Romanus, Khemikal and Lekzi that they couldn’t help but promise to patronize such splendid and quality entertainment.

The comedians; Ghana’s best were also excited to see the high society crowd and took turns narrating how apalling previous shows had been.

Once, we did a show and there were only ten people in the hall; eight comedians and two attendees who happened to be the organizers”, Foster Romanus recounted emotionally.

DKB, who was at his comic best also appealed to Ghanaians to support their own instead of paying heftily to watch foreign comedians perform.

The corporate edition of Pure Comedy saw corporate Kumasi in their numbers to witness undiluted comic talents at play.
