International music channel MTV has called on Ghanaians and the world to help get dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy nominated for this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA).
Ahead of the awards on October 25, the channel has announced nominees for the 2015 MTV EMA Best African Act category.
This year’s nominees for the Best Africa Act category are AKA (South Africa), Yemi Alade (Nigeria), Davido (Nigeria) and Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania).
There is however still one spot left for a luck African musician.
MTV is giving music fans in Ghana, and the world, an opportunity to tweet and vote for the fifth nominee for the Best African Act category.
Fans can tweet and vote Stonebwoy to that fifth spot by using #MTVEMA and the artiste’s hashtag: Stonebwoy – #NominateStonebwoy
Voting for the fifth act is open until Monday, September 14 at 23:59 CAT.
The 2015 edition of the MTV EMA will be held at the Mediolanum Forum, Milan, Italy.
