“Joselyn Dumas, John Dumelo, Van Vicker, Chris Attoh, Ramsey Nouah, Others For Scarlet Minor Chronicles Movie Rendition”

Ghanaian published author; Kenny Andam has hinted, “the movie-rendition of my five-sequenced novel, Scarlet Minor Chronicles will star African award-winning actors as part of its casts, although discussions are underway with renowned partner and founder/ VFX supervisor at Sandman Studios Entertainment , Stephen Sobosky.”

The African performers, he mentioned that are likely to star in the novel-movie rendition will include Ghanaian award-winning actors; Chris Attoh, John Dumelo, ‘Hip-goddess’ Joselyn Dumas, Peter Mensah and Van Vicker as well as Nigerian award-winning actors; Ramsey Noah, Dayo Okeniyi, Fana Mokoena, and Tammin Sursok.

Stating his reasons for the above names as part of his casting; he said, “My actors and actresses mentioned have been versatile in their own industry within the continent and have demonstrated their prowess in the movie projects they have played roles in.”

“And seeing the opportunity Scarlet Minor may open to the world and the possibilities that will arise from an actor or actress landing a role as part of the cast helped me with my decision to push for our continents lead men and women.

“In this light, I would love to see our own talented Africans showcased in such an epic when the time comes for the character Scarlet Minor to hit silver screens worldwide,” Kenny Andam added in an interview with AmaLarbieAfrica.com

Also, the movie rendition of Scarlet Minor Chronicles series, he said will need a versatile actor as the lead male and “selection of an actor like Djimon Hounsou as the lead character, and having other major stars in the likes of Samuel L. Jackson as Captain Eyesinwealth, Michael Kenneth Williams as one of the main partners in crime of Scarlet with Chiwetel Ejiofor and David Oyelowo as the main characters pals.”

Affirming, “We would also include some exciting names like Anthony Mackie, Derek Luke, Zoë Kravitz, Amandla Stenberg, Christopher Brian Bridges, and Tyrese Gibson.”

On the international female casts for the movie; Kenny Andam indicated, “we will look at Naomie Harris as one of the leads, Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington, Zoe Saldana, Rosario Dawson, Paula Patton, Quvenzhané Wallis, Danai Gurira, Rihanna, and Amandla Stenberg as potential cast for the various sections of the exciting Journeys of Scarlet Minor.”

The Scarlet Minor Chronicles author also disclosed; “consideration is being put in place for cameo appearances by Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom because of their experiences with Pirate Movies and for their historical performances to date on the silver screen.”

Scarlet Minor Chronicles is a 5-sequenced novel that tells the story of a 16-year old child who yearn to succeed his great-grandfather as a seafarer (sailor). The sequences are Scarlet Minor and the Renegade; Scarlet Minor and the Twin Pikes of Nebo; Scarlet Minor and the Crossed Blades Skull; Scarlet Minor and the Last Atlantic Fleet; and Scarlet Minor and the Isles of Black Gold.
