Joy FM came alive with incredible tunes last Saturday from 8pm to 12 midnight when Ghana’s finest HypeMan, Merqury Quaye, sat in to shut down the Open House Party usually hosted by DJ Black.
Merqury Quaye, also known as Microphone Master, dropped a wide range of tunes coupled with smooth mixes and scratches which brought Accra to a standstill.
Commenting on the invitation to play on Ghana’s premier English station, Joy FM, Merqury said “It’s been a long time coming and I’m really thankful about this opportunity given to me to exhibit the great talent I have been harboring to the world. Sitting in for DJ Black was such a thrilling experience… I have no words for it!”
Merqury Quaye was hardly known as a fantastic DJ until he took brought his skills to bear on the 4 hour show which has received great feedback so far from listeners of Joy FM.
Merqury Quaye is the new host for the Cruise Control, the drivetime show on Hitz 103.9fm, a Multimedia Company.
