More than a dozen mainstream artistes have performed at the launch of Kasapa 102.3 FM .

Gasmilla, Keche, Kontihene, Dadie Opanka, MzVee, Kofi Nti, Gallaxy, Mzbel, Adane Best, Choirmaster, Nero X, Dobble and a host others Friday played a night's only concert to the satisfaction of the thousands of patrons.

The concert, which crowned the station's two-day mega launch was to officially open the doors to its commercial operations.

Owned by Africa’s leading media group EIB Network, Kasapa 102.3 FM operates a 60 percent talk and 40 percent music policy. From its plush offices in Adabraka, it combines a successful mix of the two curated by some leading names in radio in Ghana.

EIB CEO, Kwabena Anokye Adisi, a.k.a Bola Ray, told a gathering at the launch Friday that Kasapa 102.3 FM is founded on a solid foundation that also builds into the group’s desire to be the market leader.

Kasapa FM he said would focus on giving its listening audience the kind of radio experience they deserve, adding the support they’ve received from the public in the last three months, was good enough a statement of how useful it has become to their lives.

“We are grateful for your support; in less than three months, you’ve shown us amazing love. We will continue to deliver that beautiful radio experience you’ve been yearning for.

“For all stakeholders, clients and potential clients here, I will like to give you a myriad of reasons why Kasapa should be your first choice whenever you think of doing business.

“Kasapa FM began with the motive of serving the masses and impacting society. Kasapa can boast of not only well celebrated and trained staff but also ultra modern offices and equipment that’s why we say Excellence In Broadcasting we are here to ensure that the highest standards of our industry are upheld without compromise.”

An exciting on-air offering, Kasapa 102. 3 FM has within the first three months of its operations, managed to make a case for how different mass radio can be.

The station has assembled some of the best brains available locally including Fiifi Banson, Afia Schwarzennegar, Gideon Okyere Anim (Gatusso), Tony Adam Adjei, Kwaku Owusu Adjei, Kwame Bee, and Sammy B, among a host of others.
