We are all meeting at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Aczzcra, to Demonstrate against the Contents of the Film Bill, which was drafted by people we don't even know.
OUR REASONS:
The contents of the Film Bill is technically meant to destroy the current Film Industry and create a new one that government agencies like NAFTI, GAFTA and some selfish individuals will dictate for the Film Industry. These government agencies have not produced films in this country for more than 15-20 years now. Yet they claim they are the owners of the Film Industry in Ghana
Date of the Demonstration is:
This coming Thursday
30th July, 2015
Time: 10:00am prompt
Venue:
We are converging at the Obra Spot, at Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Accra; and match peacefully, with the help of the Regional Police Commander, to
Arts Centre, Accra, opposite Ghana National Lotteries, near Tema Station, Accra High Street.
WE ARE INVITING THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO JOIN US***
Dress Code:
Red and Black, with placards and movie posters all over you.
We are to make necessary NOISE until the government listens to us
