Laud De Poet, Nana Asaase,100% And Others For Verbal Ink 2015

Poetry as another form of entertainment for a long time in Ghana has not received the necessary attention itdeserves but the annual event that came into existence three years ago dubbed Verbal Ink wants to change that as another poetry event is slated to take off 18 of month.

The event that has attracted poets’ like Nana Asaase, Laud de Poet, 100%, NiiSackey among others will take place at the LibertyHall-Fountain Head College, Community 12 Tema.

VerbaL Ink is an annual Spoken Word Event held inTemaand organised by Mode Conceptz.

According to the organizers, Verbal Ink encapsulate anything pertaining to life and godliness within the confines of morality and consciousness through Spoken Word Poetry and other Arts.

The first ever event came off at Rotary Club House in Tema and TDC ClubHouse in 2012 and 2013 respectively.

The past events has had the likes of Rhyme Sonny, MzzNdaabi, Kwame write, Hashmullah, PoetraAsantewaa Eva Walker, Ganyobi, Eli Sabblah, Psalm 1, Achiebold, Bentinoamong others.

The guest act for this year's Verbal Ink is GF Soldier who is a member of Passion 4 Christ Movement (P4CM) in the United States of America. 2015 is hosting one of P4CM's poets.

P4CM which is actually one of the biggest if not the biggest movements that gathers the largest crowds in reference to Spoken Word poetry in the the states.

According to the CEO of Mode Conceptz, Laud De Poet, "it is going to be an awesome experience as people from different poetry backgrounds are going to mount one stage toshowcase their creativity."
