Staff Sergeant Joe Bandu (retd.), father of Janet Bandu, the lady who went missing with rapper Castro in Ada, says Asamoah Gyan has not communicated with him since the incident.

The Black Stars captain was reported to have called a party at Ada where the two went jet skiing and later went missing.

Asamoah and Castro were close friends and Janet Bandu was seen on the jet ski with the musician on the Ada waters before their disappearance.

Speaking in an interview with Adom FM, Mr. Bandu said “Asamoah Gyan has never bothered to communicate with me; you can call and ask him”.

“It’s almost a year and I haven’t heard from him at all. Is my daughter not a Ghanaian or an African?” he asked.

According to Mr. Bandu, he still hasn’t come to terms to why thirteen people only returned from a trip organized for fifteen people.

“Asamoah Gyan organized the trip for 15 people plus my daughter and only 13 came back without two people up till now, I don’t understand it”.

Asked whether he is still going to demand her daughter from Castro, he said, “If Castro should show up, I will demand for my daughter from him.“

Castro’s dad, Mr. John Eshun, said he was only hoping and praying that the two will be found alive and well.

Monday, July 6, 2015 will mark the one year since the disappearance of hiplife artiste, Castro born Theophilus Tagoe, and his female companion, Janet Bandu.

The two were holidaying with captain of the Black Star’s Asamoah Gyan and some other friends at Ada and disappeared while jet skiing at the beach resort.
