Meet New Sensation, His Name Is LJ

ALTHOUGH Joseph Gamor aka LJ is new on the music scene, the young man says he has some incredible stuff he wants to share with Ghanaians. He is out with four singles, Heart breaker, Fork and Knife, Thunder Fire and Abrofosem ft Kacey Moore.

All the songs were recorded by sound engineer, De Thompson in Haatso, Accra.

On Heart Breaker, LJ sings about his disappointment from his lover after many years of dating. He advises men to take time to study their women before “giving their hearts out to them”.

He goes on to sing about how he he heals from the heart break and sets on a ‘love’ journey again and hopes to fall in love with the right person.

Everybody believes there is an enemy out there seeking their downfall and on Thunder Fire You, LJ tells his haters he will make it this year despite the challenges. He points out that no one can stop him because he is good at what he does.

On Abrofosem, which is a highlife tune, LJ advises a friend to be cautious of how he showers his partner with gifts. For him, winning a woman’s heart with material things is not the way to go. He cautions, “slow down with the gifts and allow the relationship to grow naturally”.

The 19 year-old musician raps like he has been doing it for a long period of time. He is able to switch rapping with a slow pace to fast effortlessly and that is a unique quality LJ hopes to ride on to get the needed attention.

In an interview with LJ who is under the management of Boom Entertainment headed by George Nyemi-Tei said he has plans to record with artistes like Sarkodie, Mugeez and Stonebwoy, who he said are his inspiration in his music career.

According to LJ, he has been underground for years and that gave him the opportunity to learn the “rudiments of the game”.

He said despite the stiff competition in the industry, he is hopeful he will succeed because he is talented and has got a different style.
