Iko Boy Hosts Togo Best Rapper Micflammez In Ghana

The plush prampram Legacy Beach Hotel last Saturday played host to two of West Africa' shining music sensations.

From the camp of Lome based Pamobar Entertainment, Micflammez, famed in Togo for revamping "Rap Music" was the host of Iko Boy, signed on the Gba Entertainment record label with offices in Accra and Lagos.

The two musicians who met in Lomee several months ago have collaborated on a number of projects which will be released to music lovers in the near future, however progress is already advanced for the release of their first music collaboration, video of which Micflammez is in Ghana to capture visual for with his team made up of Togo's celebrated Video director.

Here on the invitation of Iko Boy, whose record label Gba Entertainment recently registered him with the Musicians Union of Ghana, Micflammez has expressed his appreciation for the hospitality accorded him since he landed in Accra with his team.

" the people are warm and they should expect me back soon because I am preparing to enter the Ghana music industry big time"

Micflammez who hinted that he schooled partly in Ghana will be working with some other Ghanaian musicians who he claims will be overwhelmed by the support he gets back home in Lome for his exceptional rap abilities.

He said in an interview with this reporter that he is the reigning "Best Rapper of the Year" at the Togo Music Awards and has held the position since 2010.

Iko Boy is a sensational Afro Pop musician currently taking on the West African music scene with his string of collaborations with some of the sub regions most celebrated musicians,producers and directors.

His first single, released in 2013 features Ghana's most celebrated rapper Sakordie. The song, a fusion of Afro beats and hiphop has become a club Banger. Popular in several West African cities including Accra, Lome, and Lagos.

Earlier this year, Iko Boy in his collaborative missions shot video for his latest single, "Shorki" with Ghanaian Boxer

and Comedian, Bukom Banku under the visual direction of award winning Video Director Prince Dovlu.

The "Shoki" video is currently airing on popular entertainment television stations 4syte TV and GH One TV as well as other mainstream television stations across Ghana and West Africa.
