A Kumasi-based radio presenter, Frankie Taylor, has disclosed that the radio business in Kumasi is dying slowly due to a large exodus of radio personalities to Accra in search of better opportunities

Speaking on Peace FM, Frankie Taylor advised owners of radio stations that 'modern logistics must be put in place and if workers are indeed relevant, there should be the provision of allowances and accommodation to make their lives contented.'

He, however, advised radio presenters to do their best to respect and show gratitude to those they received training from.

Frankie Taylor started his active radio career with Radio BIYAC at Akyem Oda, the first private radio station in the Eastern Region in 1995. As a presenter at Radio BIYAC, he rose to become the first programmes director and later joined Fox FM in 1999 when it was established.
