All roads lead to the Silverbird Cinemas in Accra on Friday as director Frank Rajah releases his latest movie, Iyore.
A lot of expectations await the movie which stars some of Africa's best actors/actresses including Rita Dominic, Joseph Benjamin, Okawa Shaznay, Paul Obazele, Yemi Blaq, Bukky Wright and a host of others.
Iyore is a mythical tale set around the ancient Benin Kingdom and tells a story about life after death. The epic feature is a mixture of historical facts and fiction. It explores a tragic love story centred on the rich culture of pre-colonial Benin through to the present day of Benin whilst exploring the supernatural ideas of reincarnation.
It will be released under Heroes Production and Raj Films coming weekend.
Frank Rajah announced last month that the movie would also be released in Nigeria the same day.
After May 8, the movie will remain in the cinemas for weeks.
