All is set for the entire Koforidua Township to experience the biggest ever Gospel musical show, fun- packed event in the history of Ghana, slated for Sunday, 10th May, 2015 at the Apostolic Church of Ghana - Regional Assembly branch, opposite the Assemblies of God Church Koforidua to mark the 2015 Mother’s Day Celebration in grand style.

The promising event will feature sensational gospel musicians cum ministers of God like the Royal Ps. Nana Adjei Perbi, SP Kofi Sarpong, Bernice Offei and many more, not forgetting the Apostolic Church Women’s movement who are highly charged to thrill patrons with powerful praise and worship songs amidst dancing in the presence of God.

The much talked about event dubbed “My Mom & I -2015”, according to, Ps. Nana Perbi is a proud initiative of Nana Perbi Foundation and Outreach Ministry, equally supported by the Apostolic Church of Ghana, Koforidua, seeking to celebrate and honor every mother and express gratitude to them for the hardships they bear in bringing up a child.

According to Ps. Nana Perbi, his decision to come out of this program was borne out of love of celebrating his sweet mother “Aunty Hannah” on a day like this for having taken good care of him since his time of birth, adulthood and to equally offer the same respect to all mothers across the entire world.

“Let me say that my decision to come out with this program is borne out of my love for my mum “Aunty Hannah” as I affectionately call her for taking good care of me throughout my time of birth till now and for all mothers, I owe you similar respect. May God richly bless you all” Ps. Nana Perbi has maintained.

Listed on the top of the chart are host of powerful ministers of God, poised to deliver the message of God to patrons, moreover , waiting upon God to be used to touch people’s lives and to finally grace the occasion. These crops of top-notched Clergymen includes: Apostle Kinglsey Miah, Head Pastor of Church of Pentecost, Rev. Adjei Baffour, Head Pastor of New Height Community Church, Accra, Rev. Alex Ofori-Amankwa, Head Pastor of Assemblies of God Church, Koforidua, Rev. Pastor M. T. Osei, District Pastor of Apostolic Church of Ghana, Baisiwaa Dowuona-Hammond, a TV Personality, Aunty Hannah Amoabea, a Counsellor, Deaconess Janet Chemo and more.

Mother’s Day is observed the second Sunday in May. It is a time to honor mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers for their contribution to family and society. However, this year’s celebration in Ghana falls on Sunday, 10thof May, 2015. Around the world, most countries including US, Australia, Canada and India also mark the Day on the second Sunday of May. Mother’s Day came into being due to the efforts made by Ms. Julia Ward Howe and Ms. Anna Jarvis. The Resolution for having a dedicated Mother's Day was signed by US President Woodrow Wilson on May 8, 1914. Since then people across the world have been celebrating Mother’s Day with joy and devotion.

The much awaited event however, promises to be an amazing combination of musical displays interspersed with fashion, counseling sessions and health screening alongside with business opportunities presentations and lots of foods and drinks to climax the day apart from donations to mothers and widows.

Admission is free for corporate institutions, businesses and individuals are warmly welcome to donate for a worthy course.
