ACE female highlife musician Akosua Agyapong has announced preparations for her 25th anniversary celebration in the music industry in Ghana.

The musician, who is blessed with immaculate dancing skills and a melodious voice, has over the years been contributing to reducing breast cancer cases in the country.

Sarkodie, Nana Ampadu, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, A.B. Crentsil, Rev Joe Beechem, MzVee, Edem, Becca, Amandzeba, Rex Omar, Daughters of Glorious Jesus and Nana Ama McBrown, among other artistes, have been invited to perform at the event.

She told BEATWAVES in a chat that she would perform some of her hit songs such as 'Frema' 'Medo Wo', 'Meye Obaa', 'Asiwa', 'Odo Bema Mesunko', 'Aware', among others.

Akosua Agyapong said apart from the main concert on May 30, there would be a health walk on May 2 which starts from the Trade Fair Centre at La in Accra to the 37 Military Hospital and back to the Trade Fair where there would be free screening for breast cancer, hypertension, diabetes and other ailments.

'On May 9, Akosua would make a donation to an orphanage at Gbawe, near Accra,' she added.

Nana Ampadu, who is also billed to perform at the event, commended Akosua Agyapong on her 25th anniversary, adding that he is prepared to support her whenever she calls on him any day.

The concert is sponsored by Joy Daddy, Special Ice, Onga, National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), Tobinco, Union Oil, Breast Care International and Allied Oil.
