When sultry dancehall musician, Nyamekye’s video for ‘simple gyal’ unexpectedly got released online this Wednesday, 22nd April, she quickly called her online content managers to clarify issues.

However, the fast rising singer who was recently endorsed by various radio DJs in Ghana as the next biggest dancehall female act, has stated that, she will not take the video off YouTube because of her fans who said they love the dance moves in the video. Explaining why she recorded this particular video, Nyamekye stressed that her management wanted the original video for the song to be rich with dance moves since she is an experienced dancer, so they recorded that mock-up video for guidance.

“If you watch the leaked video on YouTube, the graphics were not too rich and we had few locations to shoot from. Basically, because it was not the real music video for ‘simple gyal’. That video is more like a ‘mock-up’ dance video where you see the girls and I doing various dances and trying to have fun”

She said her fans are enjoying the video because of the dance moves. “Anyone who loves to dance or enjoys watching sexy girls dance will definitely fall in love with the leaked video” – She opined. She further gave the assurance that the original music video for ‘simple gyal’ ft DXD is currently being edited so fans should watch out for it soon.

Nyamekye is an afro-dancehall singer from Ghana and works under Frontline Entertainment as a recording artiste.
