Obrafour Still Remains Unequalled.

The executioner as he is called in the English tongue, Obrafour is one hip-life musician I will describe, a genius.

The release of his debut album titled “Pae Mu Ka” in 1999 made him a household name and put him on a high pedestal, earning him enormous sales.

You’ve ever thought of the hidden ingredient which made him a household name? Of course part of the credits is owed to Hammer of the Last Two and his friend [Way Deep] but you should not forget that as good as a beat is, it needs well crafted lyrics together with powerful rhymes and rhythmic punch lines to see it served as a complete and entertaining song.

Obrafour had this quality and exercised it in his songs and it was due to this quality, which made him phenomenal.

In my point of view, the Ghana Rap Sofo defined himself as a complete act regarding his brand and also served the ordinary Ghanaian with one thing they cherish most – proverbs.

Why I Will Rubbish The Argument That Sarkodie Has Surpassed The Hip-Life Legend.

Sarkodie may be receiving multiple awards both locally and internationally as well as huge charge for shows - may be more than the ones Obrafour has received but it is crystal clear when you are asked to tell who is better between Jay Z and Eminem.

Jay Z has a good sense for the business aspect and that earns him more rates but talk about the other side which is the performance, Eminem beats him on any day.

It is same with the issue of Obrafour and Sarkodie. Okodie has the rates but the act, Obrafour outpaces him.

I will not like to talk much to get into personal files and create any form of hard feeling or enmity neither between the two good related artistes nor their fans.

Sarkodie is good with his rhythmic rap lyrics and punch lines but you will understand the obvious if you really get the picture I have painted.

There is more to be spoken of in the next chapter of my writing – not only concerning The Executioner and Okodie but a lot more celebrities.
